Colonial Inn

Colonial Inn

Portions of the Colonial Inn in Concord date back to 1716 and served as a storehouse for arms and supplies before the outbreak of war in 1775. When the British soldiers arrived to seize and destroy the patriots' supplies, most of the material had been moved. After the fight, local doctor Timothy Minot Jr. who lived in the building used it as a hospital. The Inn's Room 24 was an operating room.
