Old Burying Ground Concord

The Old Burying Ground overlooking Concord Green is home to the graves of many historically important individuals including Captain John Parker, who led the militia men on April 19, 1775, Col. John Buttrick, on whose farm the North Bridge fight occurred, and Col. James Barrett, a colonel in the Concord, Massachusetts militia whose farm was the storage site of all the town’s militia gunpowder, weapons, and two cannons.
